My projects

I have a number of projects in mind. First, prequels to The Covery and Then, at least five volumes. Then, a series of two crime stories linked with each-other. But these are long term projects. As of now, I am working on three different works :

- A Fantasy cycle, Heritage of the Olvali, which should be made of four 500 pages-long volumes. The writing of the first one, The Rise of the Ambitious, is on the way (extract here). It is about a harsh and violent world, but I am trying to break the rules of the genre. The stereotyped characters of the hero, the magician and the princess are upset. Nice guys are not all nice and bad guys are not all bad...

- A "general fiction" novel, more or less autobiographical. It is the resumption of a work I did in my youth, from 1990 to 1995. I considered the text ready to be submitted to publishers, when I was called for my national service as a teacher at the French school in Copenhagen. I had left the manuscript in my luggage to fly there. My bag never arrived. At the time I had no numeric copy. The manuscript was properly speaking handwritten. It was lost. I hesitated years before resuming it. I am eventually getting around to doing it. The opening (in French) is available here.

- An erotic book, written with a Canadian blogger, Sexysoda, whose blog I like. We are only just beginning, but already we have interesting leads. Unfortunately, I can't say more yet (except that Franck Spengler, from éditions Blanche, is interested in seeing the finished work).
